Recovery Chill Beach Day @ Huntington Beach

10:00 am - 11:30 am Brunch Meetups @ Downtown HB
Before chilling out on the beach, come meet others and enjoy brunch outside on Main St in Downtown Huntington Beach, at local favorites,  Sugar Shack Cafe and No Ka Oi. Both restaurants are right next to each other, and Sugar Shack has additional seating in the back.  The people watching alone on Main St,  seeing the local cast of characters or classic hot rod cars, is priceless.

Enjoy some much needed beach therapy recovering from the conference with new friends you made at brunch, or with your crew at Huntington Beach City Beach, roughly the same spot as the Saturday afternoon beach party.   Groups can enjoy renting beach cruisers (beach bikes), playing in the waves, joining in on a volleyball game, or just exploring and shopping for souvenirs or surf attire in Downtown Huntington Beach.

You may want to get a shake or some lunch at Ruby's Diner on the pier, have a sandwich at Sessions West Coast Deli, or grab a burger at the local's favorite TK Burgers.

5:30 pm - 6:45 pm Dinner Meetups @ Lemonade and Wahoo’s
Before the bonfire, come hang out and grab some dinner, SoCal style either at Lemonade in Pacific City or Wahoo’s in Downtown HB . Knott's Berry Farm Group will be joining the Recovery Chill Beach Day crowd (along with anyone else), for these dinner meetups.

Lemonade is a lot more than just a lemonade stand, with sandwiches, salads, bowls, and tons of side dishes to pick and choose from, served cafeteria style. Located in Pacific City, a newer funky outdoor shopping/dining center, Lemonade has ample seating in their balcony or Pacific City courtyard with amazing ocean and sunset views.

Wahoo's is legendary surf food with a mix of Baja-style fish tacos and burritos, with Hawaiian-style rice bowls and salads.

At both locations, everyone can order and pay separately.  HB Conference Committee Hosts will be there to greet you. After dinner, the group can walk (10-15 minutes) down the boardwalk to the Epic Regional Bonfire FHE (scroll down for more details on the bonfire), or if you are in paid parking, it's best to move your car  closer towards the bonfire.
